Back in June we attended the annual Avebury get together to celebrate the summer solstice .This involves camping in a field, practising with a samba band ,dressing up and generally having a good time in spite of the weather which was not good and celebrating the solstice , which involves going to Avebury village and standing by the stones and taking part in a samba band performance as the sun goes down .
