Purbeck Adventure

Gosh, this is taking a while catching up. The gentle plod of the snail see ? This trip we went to the Purbeck Peninsular down in Dorset. It was very beautiful and we had a very good time and met up with friends. Corfe castle is a very picturesque village and has an amazing castle ,which just happened to have a whole enactment event of castle life going on  when we visited which was really fun and interesting . We went on the steam train to Corfe and both journeys there and back we had to run for the train as we had timed it badly and did not have enough time to properly soak in the olde worlde atmosphere of the whole experience which was never the less still good.. I love old trains ! We also went to Studland which is this amazing beach that goes on for miles and has a heather/ dune nature reserve along it and includes right up to Poole harbour which is also very beautiful. It was so lovely  we went back several times. ,and we were blessed with pretty good weather too.
